Although I was blown away by the architetcure, its quaintness and rich cultural and intellectual history, I felt as if the mark of capitalism had rendered it kitsch. I felt like I was walking around in a museum: it was decontextualized from itself.... but I also spent alot of time in Charles Square. None the less, I like the tension that you have captured between the pace and isolation of mofern life and the rich cultural heritage as seen through the architetcure. good stuff!
